Link exchange(noindex page)

If I make a link a exchange with someone and he adds my link on a noindex page, will it still be counted as link exchange or will he get a high relevancy link and I get nothing? What do you guys think?

 

You get not much. In theory traffic from the page, but you're paying/exchanging for an advert not a backlink

 

Yes but that guy that exchanges links with me gets a backlink right?
Does google see this method as a link exchange or as a relevant link for that other guy?

Yes Google check the relevancy of link with the page.There is no benefit for you to get link form non index page. I also do not like link exchange strategy.

 

If page is not indexed then your backlink is also not counted..

 

This means that search engine robots will not index (NOINDEX) or follow (NOFOLLOW) the links on that page.
Thats why this is of no use.

 

Link exchange has been old or close. It is not enough to SEO. Change you way it is not beneficial.
