I need a blog buddy

slymarketing don't worry if you don't get or you get small amount of comments. Your mission is to post good contents and not to look for comments.

Our new Social Community project don't have comments at all ( heh ) but still our members are writing articles / tutorials / howtos just for the fun and to help others and they do that for free.

This is true to a point, however it seems that people like controversy and conversation. I personally like people to leave comments on my blog even if its just to say hi and Ill stop by again. But, I welcome all comments and appreciate the constructive criticism. I am joining the Google Group, I just hope that it doesn't end up like some of the Yahoo groups that I have joined in the past.

 

Constructive criticism is crucial, without it, how would we ever know when we were wrong? Being told you are wrong is just as important as being told you are right, at least for me.

Though its a lot more fun to be told your right

 

I need a blog buddy too or at least someone to help liven up my comments as well. I'd be willing to do the same.

Hey everybody you should really consider joining Jens google group, it is really helpful and already have some members. Jens is a very helpful, and very motivated guy, so if your looking to get into a group of people trying to help each other out and spread their professional wisdom I would definitely join.

I joined the group. I am not sure that everyone has to visit each blog link posted, but visiting a couple each day and reading the posts will not only help the blog owner, but it could give you ideas for content for your own blog. I like to read other blogs for this purpose. Of course no copy n paste...

Being told that you are right is always fun. Even being told that you are wrong can be fun to a certain point. You need to look at the source of the criticism. What if some new blogger or marketer who really knew nothing about blogging or marketing was telling you that you were wrong. Of course you wouldn't know this unless you did some research on the person.

I personally take everything I hear about marketing from this forum and the blogs that I am reading and blend it. This way I hope to put the plan in motion. My plan of course would contain the best points from both sources and some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry.
