But, article marketing is a great way to bring in traffic and build your list. If they like what they read from your article, they will definitely signup to see what else you have to offer.
This is great information. But I think (in retrospect) that you should learn copywriting first, because if your unable to evoke emotion from your articles then your chances of makeing sales are greatly reduced.
I've been using article marketing as my main form of driving traffic for a long time, now. The best advice I could give is to write optimized articles with great content. A lot of marketers will tell you you need to write 20 articles per day, and I used to buy into that. However, if you pump out that many article in one day, they aren't going to be quality. I've found that my sales and leads have increased since I started writng 1 or 2, 800-1000 word masterpieces every day. I try to put out killer content. I've also noticed that more webmasters and ezine publishers have picked up my articles since I started doing this. It takes me 1-2 hours to pump out a truly good article, but it's worth it. Just last week, I wrote an 850 word piece about my niche that got indexed well and brought me 212 hoplinks in one day that resulted in 4 sales. It has made me 3 sales since. So, if you put out great articles that rank well, they will continue to pay you for years to come.
Is there an applications out there that write articles for your by you entering keywords to the tools or something like that? It will be a lot easier though. Tx

Article marketing works better for me to build my list. All of my articles from several article directories are linking to my squeeze page. I don't focus on sales, i focus on list building. People will never buy from you if you put a link of your sales page in the resource box, because they don't know you. Maybe for some of you it works, but not for the majority of people. List building should be your number 1 priority whatever you do online. When I do article marketing, blog commenting, guest blogging, forum posting, social bookmarking, all of them links to my squeeze page and not a sales page. Once they become your subscribers, then you can offer, but make sure to build relationship first and don't be too blatant when making an offer. If the people really trust you, they will buy from you without you making extra effort.
I have submitted 10 Articles to 100+ Top Article websites with PR 6- PR 2 but the traffic is not coming to my website.

Article marketing does work. But, what your suggesting is actually article submission. Article submission - Submitting a bunch of articles to all the top article directories Article Marketing - Writing a few high quality articles on your niche and then promoting the article it self. If you have an article in EZA post the link to the article in your forum signature. This will also get people to view your article and then hopefully click your link. Are we all in agreement with this. Just my way of thinking.
