I'd have serious reservations about joining a forum that had that few posts that was asking me to pay for the privilage!

I've never actually posted there, I was signing up to see what the bad boys were up to It's always worth keeping an eye on all aspects of SEO just to see if you can pick up any tricks you can use.

I've always considered trying a few solely black-hat experiments but I've just never had the time.

 

I think Shoemoneys 2nd point says alot about it

I've showed them my online utility site and asked could I get free subscription as valued member, but no response.

Although, his blog is quite good, sometimes.

 

I quite like the blog, it's very down to earth and he does what most SEO's do anyway but a tad more extreme, find new ways to cheat the system. I've been thinking about joinging his forum for a while but I need the beer

 

They should offer access for 2 days for $5 to see if it’s worth it.

 

This one used to be good until all the guys that would actually contribute went into the private forums.

If you have that kind of money to spend on a forum that may not teach you anything you don't already know, maybe you're already blackhat enough?

 

I think of it more as a paid hacker forum than just a mere SEO black hat. I agree this is interesting but I guess knowledge knows no boundaries and even what is discussed in the forum will somehow "leak" into the public who doesn't need to pay subscription.
