why most blogs almost have errors when validated at the W3C site? even the big sites such Facebook and Yahoo though? then how do I resolve this error?

My blog's landing page (home) does success with w3c validation, most error codes can be from youtube embedding code, if you have some youtube videos. Usually you check which line has an error, w3c is very strict with cleaning code. I have made a video how i validated my blog.

There is not much that you can do.Blogger code is not compliant with w3c rule3s. it uses it's own proprietary code. Try going to www.w3c.org and run compliance test on the html and the css, you will see hundreds of errors. Try to fix many of the errors, and the blog won't work anymore.

I think its because of the huge number of third party plugins that they use! most of the plugin developers don't care about the validity of their code!

I think it depends on the theme/template you're using. Some designers don't bother to validate their themes.

My view on validation is that as long as your site looks fine, don't worry! Just make sure you check cross browser compatibility and you re-check when new browser versions are released.

Almost all of my sites have some validation errors but they look fine and are cross browser compatible...Why waste time fixing small errors when you don't need to!??!

There is no need of w3c validation. Even google homepage has 60 errors.

But certainly make sure your homepage looks similar in all three platform (firefox, chrome, and IE)
