Answering Allegations about Islam - !!! Come And Join Us !!!

Given it's history, how can you not discuss allegations against islam without discussing terrorism?

I'll bite, I enjoy a good discussion.

Why are muslims ashamed of the scriptures in their holy book that specifically call for the death of non-believers? Time and time again, when pointed out, (some) muslims will resort to denial of such when clearly they exist.

If islam is tolerant, why does the quran tell muslims not to befriend Christians and Jews? Do muslims have a different interpretation of what Westerners refer to as tolerance?

All this "islam" is big fake.

We all know Jews are the chosen, mohammad wants to join the Jews but they didn't allow it because he need to convert to Judaism + more things to do.

So that wouldn't happend, they reject him and he was disapointed and jealous them, so he crate the islam that similar to Jews bible, but he add some evil shits.

Well, This is the first good Q'n and comment I have seen. Gtech you are saying and qouting the right Hadith, But few things I would like to describe about it.

1. This is NOT mentioned in Qur'an but is Saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

2. This Hadith is mentioned when the Prophet was telling His (phbh) companions (ra) about the signs of Qayamah (the last days).

There are several Verses in Bibal which is mentioning alot like this against the Jews as well.

Well, these are just stories, According the religion of Sikhs they believe in All of the religions to be True and I don't think they have such belief to kill Muslims.

What is your belief as far as Prophet Jesus (as) is concerned ?? Do you mention Him (as) as a God's Son as some Christians Believe In ??

I'm struggling to understand how this relates to the questions I presented. I had three points. If I look at number 1. of your response, is this to address my first point?

Second point (2.) so you are saying that because the quran says it, then it's clear that muslims cannot befriend Christians and Jews. Yet supposedly do. Is this the best example to use for citing how islam is peaceful and tolerant? It just doesn't seem very "tolerant" to me.

3. I know of no verses in the Bible that tell Christians a Jew is hiding behind a rock, come and kill him. Would it be fair to say that scriptures like these are peaceful and tolerant?

I mean, snake just tried to convince us infidels in another post that islam is about peace and tolerance (very odd, as most have given up on that myth now), yet these don't seem like very peaceful and tolerant actions.

You tell me...if my religion (Christianity, though I'm not a devout follower) tells me "there is a muslim hiding behind a rock, go and kill him" would you think it's "peaceful and tolerant?"

 

glad your asking these questions to be straight forward islam is all about peace and respect and was never spread by a sword. now considering pres. bush in this he's an enemy to every muslim because he had killed many muslim's. thats when islam has right to ki** such a person. basically in islam you have right to fight for your religion which is called jihad, you should only do jihad when the person is abusing you or the muslims, looking at bin lande** for ex. is all wrong he's kil**ing inocent people who did nothing.

Islam is not about peace and tolerance. The questions I pose would make an ordinary person raise questions about that, but then we see nothing going on in the world today where islam is bringing peace or respect. Are we not watching the barbarians rise up like infested beasts in regards to something the Pope "didn't say" but rather quoted?

Islam was spread by the sword through conquests and forced conversions. I've recently covered this as well. Is there some fascination with denial? I guess I don't understand what would shame a muslim so much about their religion to distort the truth. Do you have any insight on this, or is just obligatory to paint an alternate form of reality for the infidel in hopes they will see something that doesn't exist?

You are responding with emotion rather than fact arguments. Your own anger is taking control of your response. Islam has a long history of spreading by the sword. You have not corrected me on anything, but I do wish you would at least try.

With 5000+ posts here, I can assure you I'm not going anywhere. If you are too ashamed of islams conquests through via the sword, I understand. I would be ashamed too.
