You can then Google the phrase "Free web directories". Find a list of free directories and open each one in a new tab. All that is left is to copy and paste each line of information into the appropriate input box and then click the submit button. That should start getting you listed in the search engines relatively quickly. You can also look for a free directory submitter. If you can afford it, buy one. You can use it over and over again. It quickens the submission pace. Also, blog commenting is a good way to get some back links. But make sure you are adding to the conversation. Nothing more frustrating for a blog owner to see nothing but spam in their comment sections each day.
POst your site on other game forums and actual game sites, find blogs about games. by cheap ass advertising such as adf.ly , adoori.com adbrite pop-unders, megavideo advertising. Its an entertainment site so search for platforms which have entertianment sites. I would also say word of Mouth will be good, maybe find incentives for people to promote your site, for you , such as paying them , or point system or something.
