Convert WAV Into MP3

    How do I convert WAV file into MP3 format? What's the simplest way to do that with my computer.

    I suggest just grabbing iTunes www.itunes.com ... it works great for me and it's free.

    Thanks! I prefer free software as I've got very few files to convert, in fact I rarely get wav files, most of the time I get mp3 files.

    same here. I happened to just be on my LT last night needing to convert a few files. Ordinarily I use SoundForge (on my desktop) for all my audio stuff.

    I did not know that about itunes...it's a rather large program just if you need to convert a file though.

    does it play video(s) as well?

    No videos.. but it does cook my dinner. ;)

    You can export the files via the "advanced" tab.
