Hi! We've added the business-oriented product to clickbank, can anyone share the idea about how to promote the product among potential affiliates?? The product is focused on Balanced Scorecard. Need to build any special page for affiliates?
Having an affiliate page with the regular affiliate tools ie banners, email scripts etc... would probably help out. The easier you make it for people to promote your product, the more affialiates promoting you should get.
1) Write articles and submit them to various article directories (That's should get the ball rolling and attract dozens affiliates that are surfing these articles directories on daily basis) 2) Approach other webmaster/affiliates personally. 3) Video marketing - This on the long run can attract dozens of affiliates. 4) Forum signature files 5) JV's - If you don't have a list yet start building your own list, meanwhile look for list owners that would be happy to send out a few emails for you in their lists (you need to have a budget for this) 6) Social media (Join business related groups and get as many eye balls on your product - There's a lot of people looking for new opportunities) 7) Affiliate directories (I don't find them very effective but they surely can attract a few affiliates on the long run) 8) PPC - Another great way to attract affiliates. If your product stays featured on Adwords for weeks or months, you'll simply get exposure to your product in front of thousands of affiliates in your nice. (This will help you with your site ranking as well) 9) Clickbank Advertising - Haven't tried it myself but will do shortly 10) Build a solid affiliate resources section on your site, affiliate are always looking for tools/ pointers / tips on promoting your product. 11) Test the conversions yourself before actually approaching affiliates to promote it.
I'm in a similar boat. I just launched my clickbank product not too long ago, also geared towards a business market. I've started down a number of the channels listed by precious. So far, the majority of my inorganic, indirect traffic is from articles/tutorials I've written on a companion blog.
Do you mean articles on general product topic or articles specifically for affiliates? If for general topic, then we are focusing on general traffic, this will increase the number of potential affiliates too, but probably too slow. If articles should be for affiliates, then what should target keywords be? Something like "my niche"+ affiliate? What about the quality of such affiliates? For instance, if on the resource page I have some texts that affiliate can use on his site, then it is obvious that affiliate will use text that is not unique, so it appears that in this way we cannot attract quality affiliates or can?
I would recommend you to try and promote your product on relevant forums. Also, announcing product launch and affiliate program on webmaster forums helps.
you can partner with another vendor who has a related product..and set up an adswap or another strategy that benefits you and him...
get the product know by affiliates by giving high comission as an incentive and them if it is a success you can just sit back and relax XD
