I had the chance to watch it a couple of days ago. I wasn´t expecting much, because of the topic. I had watched most of Denzel Washington´s flicks and that was my main motivator to watch it. I also like Gary Oldman. I have to admit that I truly enjoyed the movie. well done, story wise and superb acting.
This movie is very profound, bothh as a motion picture and as superb story telling, my only wish is that it was longer so I could have enjoyed the great acting and the beautiful screenplay. Excellent! welldone hollywood!
Denzel Washington once again lived up to the expectations from him in The Book Of Eli. His acting and overall performance was outstanding in the movie.
great movie. i like it when he snipe the cat in the beginning. i just can't believe Eli actually memorize the bible.
I love Denzel washington's work like in "man on Fire". he is a solid actor and his mottor is that any movie he is in must be an "issue movie". What was the issue in "Book of Eli"? Avoiding boring, predictable scripts of movies that never should have been made?
