Find out why Al-Qaeda issuing a 60 million dollar bounty on this coptic priest

I am sure some of you have heard of him but this post is for those who haven't.
Briefly: This priest basically dissects the Quran, Muhammed and relevant readings from A to Z. He uses only Islamic references and his program is watched by millions of Muslims throughout the world.

"Coptic priest Fr. Zakaria Botros, who al Qaeda has called "one of the most wanted infidels in the world," issuing a 60 million dollar bounty on his head. Popular Arabic magazines also call him "Islam's public enemy #1". He hosts a television program, “Truth Talk,” on Life TV. His two sites are Islam-Christianity.net and FatherZakaria.net. He was recently awarded the Daniel of the Year award".

He is all over the net, so it wouldn't take much effort to find out more about him.
This is a nice interview though by Jihadwatch.
    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/06/exclusive-father-zakaria-botros-interview-with-frontpage-mag.html

With the powerful media we have today, it is impossible to disguise Islam as the "peaceful loving religion". I totally respect the work of Fr. Zakaria to lead people to the truth and knowing God.

Until today, Not one Muslim scholar has been able to challenge him, simply because they are being bounded by their texts and readings.

I would love to hear your opinions in this

Man... check out this completely insane story about Christians in Egypt: Egyptian Couple Shot by Muslim Extremists Undaunted in Ministry.

These people need to move. Egypt is a pit, they should abandon it to the Muslims.

    An excerpt:
On the afternoon of Feb. 27, Shehata and his wife were on a motorcycle on a desolate stretch of hard-packed dirt road. Other than a few scattered farming structures, there was nothing near the road but the Nile River on one side, and open fields dotted with palm trees on the other.

Shehata approached a torn-up section of the road and slowed down. A man walked up to the vehicle carrying a big wooden stick and forced him to stop. Shehata asked the man what was wrong, but he only pushed Shehata off the motorcycle and told him, “I’m going to stop you from running around,” Samir recounted.

Shehata asked the man to let Samir go. “Whatever you are going to do, do it to me,” he told the man.

The man didn’t listen and began hitting Shehata on the leg with the stick. As Shehata stumbled, Samir screamed for the man to leave them alone. The man lifted the stick again, clubbed Shehata once more on the leg and knocked him to the ground. As Shehata struggled to get up, the man took out a pistol, leveled it at Shehata’s back and squeezed the trigger.

Samir started praying and screaming Jesus’ name. The man turned toward her, raised the pistol once more, squeezed off another round, and shot Samir in the arm. Samir looked around and saw a few men running toward her, but her heart sank when she realized they had come not to help them but to join the assault.

Samir jumped on top of Shehata, rolled on to her back and started begging her attackers for their lives, but the men, now four in all, kept firing. Bullets were flying everywhere.

“I was scared. I thought I was going to die and that the angels were going to come and get our spirits,” Samir said. “I started praying, ‘Please God, forgive me, I’m a sinner and I am going to die.’”

Samir decided to play dead. She leaned back toward her husband, closed her eyes, went limp and tried to stop breathing. She said she felt that Shehata was dying underneath her.

“I could hear him saying some of the Scriptures, the one about the righteous thief [saying] ‘Remember me when you enter Paradise,’” she said. “Then a bullet went through his neck, and he stopped saying anything.”

Samir has no way of knowing how much time passed, but eventually the firing stopped. After she heard one of the shooters say, “Let’s go, they’re dead,” moments later she opened her eyes and the men were gone. When she lifted her head, she heard her husband moan.

The rest of the story is far more weird.

Egypt is a Christian land- that means it's not Christians who should leave it.

Umm... dude... I hate to break this to you, but the other crazies outnumber you ten to one.

Religions of the people of Egypt: Muslim (mostly Sunni) 90%, Coptic 9%, other Christian 1%.

These people have less respect for human life than I have for the lives of the ants on my patio. The Christians of Egypt will never convince the Muslims to become civilized, because the Qua'ran forbids it. These people should relocate safely behind the lines of Dar al-Harb before the Egyptian government revokes their citizenship and makes it impossible for them to travel. Let the Jews be the first line of defense against Dar al-Islam, they are more competent at it.

Wow, we have a xenophobic, fascist-Nazi wannabe in our midst. Congratulations.

P.S. Trying to pass off that "Fort Liberty" link as something neutral was certainly a nice touch at self-promotion. See who owns fortliberty.org.

This coming from a fan of Pedophilia is humorous. I notice you still haven't explained yourself on the other thread.

You think someone here doesn't know I own FortLiberty? :p

I've only been posting about it here since 2004, maybe we have one kid who is six years behind the clue curve. Maybe I should start a thread about this.

Al Qaida have said that "any one speaks a word against the son of man shall be forgiven, but anyone speaks a word against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this life, nor in the Hereafter".

Of course, we need to mention here that some countries are practicing Crusade war on the planet right now.

This is coming from someone trying to chastise my husband for "self-promotion" of Islamic sites. And its interesting how you purposely avoided the touchy issue of your xenophobic, fascist-Nazi wannabe statements. Has there been a change in the law these days, or is there still a punishment for racism and sedition in Singapore?

Why are you quoting Al Queda? Seriously. Do you think one person in America or world wide really gives a rat f*ck what someone from Al Queda thinks? Do think you anyone in Pakistan, the new apparent capital of Muslim extremism on the planet actually gives a sh*t what Al Queda thinks? Al Queda is a problem for the US in the way a mosquito is a problem in a camping tent, except we use a 500 billion dollar fly swatter to solve the problem (like we do to solve our health care, and our employment, and every other problem). Pakistanis are another story. They have to deal with dead relatives because some asshat from Al Queda reserved the right of vengeance (A right the bible, and I suspect the Quaran, reserves to the lord(Allah) and only the lord(Allah)).

When you try and quote Al Queda in an effort to give the words meaning, you become a mouth piece for what most people on this planet, including your fellow Muslims, consider the lowest form of life amongst us So let me be the first to congratulate you for nominating yourself to be the official spokesperson of crap. Nobody knows you like you do, so if that is where you are telling us you fit into this giant puzzle, far be it from us to argue with you. Spokesperson of crap it is. Try and hang on to the side of the bowl while the rest of the world flushes in unison.

Your idiotic rantings and fake quoting just aren't worthy of being taken seriously.

Feel free to file a police complaint. :p

Still running away from admitting that your off-the-cuff remark is nothing new and we have heard all that before?

I can't be bothered nor am I staying in Singapore (I have better things to do than that). But you should know that they don't take kindly to xenophobia and xenophobic statements made in Singapore.

What I quoted was very relevant to your topic.

The coptic christian said that there are many muslims who are following Jesus, peace be upon him, every day, and I wanted to show some examples from Al Qaida.

You shouldn't be as ignorant as Obamanation, who live in a christian country waging crusade war, and yet not aware about cross worshippers' book.

Interesting that you ask that question. While YOU are raising the topic, what does Sharia law say about running porn sites?

They don't take kindly to spitting on the side walk, jaywalking, or failing to flush the toilet in a public restroom either. Whats your point?

Does claiming every statement made by your opponent is a fallacious argument cut it amongst the people you normally have discussions with? If we wall went down that path, the conversation would never go anywhere. For instance, Will claims the Qua'ran forbids a civilized Muslim society, I'm assuming based on it's intolerance of free speech, women's rights, tolerance of other religions(especially the jews), and a variety of other Quaranic teachings. You respond by calling him a Xenophobe and a Nazi wannabe, instead of arguing the point as to whether or not these are Quaranic teachings. You then further your Xenophobe line of conversation in the next post where you mention Singapore does not take kindly to Xenophobia. You have essentially changed the topic, which is text book red herring. I then call you out on it and you try and apply the red herring fallacy to my statement? Lady, you are giving hypocrites a bad name. You did better with, "I know you are but what am I". If you are going to carry on discussions with adults in a public forum, you need to arm yourself with facts instead of the dictionary of logical fallacies, yet another subject where you appear to have little knowledge. Perhaps if you spent less time promoting pornographic sites and supporting the rights of child molesters.
