Hi DP I have just made a new logo for a web design website Im making and was hoping to get your opinions on the logo for the website. http://i394.photobucket.com/albums/pp21/silent_bob/mercurydesignwebsiterebrand.png It can be seen there on photobucket. I think it needs something at the bottom to fill the area as perhaps there is to much black there. Any suggestions and constructive ideas would be great as always. Thanks in advance mercuryR
if you can fill in the blank place with something will be nice like some tagline some other similar stuff
Hey guys Thanks for the feedback...I centralised the lettering more and slightly changed the outer aspect of the logo as the cali design i used originally looked a little unclean for my liking. I agree vaibhavpagar I need to add a tag line to it to help fill in the the bottom black area. I was thinking of perhaps a brighter lettering in a metallic blue but keeping with the liquid metal theme. Anyways a new centralised version = http://i394.photobucket.com/albums/pp21/silent_bob/mercurydesignwebsite12345.png I will hopefully add the tag line lettering tonight and post the updated version for you to review. Thanks again guys for the help it is very much appreciated. Regards mercuryR
I would sharpen the outer border with a color of light gray or light blue to give it a clean professional look. It looks to jagged unless that is the look your going for.
I took on board a few things that were said on here and a couple of other forums and have pretty much redesigned the logo. Strange how its much harder to design something for myself than it is for others. Anyways here is the new logo, as always any input would be appreciated. http://i394.photobucket.com/albums/pp21/silent_bob/revisedmerclogo.png
