Hi. I have recently set up a gaming forum with my partner based on the Call of Duty series. It has already got several active members but I wanted to know what I good way to advertise it would be? Is using facebook or twitter a good way, and if so what would I do? Not really looking to spend any money advertising it, just looking for efficient, free methods, if they even exist. The website is www. forum warfare .com. Thanks.

I can't really. ConsoleCaliber was only successful a couple years back when we had unique content and downloads to offer. This new forum doesn't really have anything like that, it's just a discussion forum.

You ask a HUGE open ended question to which there are many answers.

If you are totally unfamiliar with marketing and promoting websites, the best
first step would be to read, study, and learn more about...

    - on-page SEO
    - keyword research
    - banner marketing and media buys
    - and much more...

You may also want to frequent the forums & message
boards where other gamesite owners hangout.

    Good luck...
