Hi there, I was wondering where to find good OpenCart templates & is it easy to create a template by myself? Thanks for you help!
http://www.google.com/search?q=open...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a there you go... Nigel
Yeah, I did the search, but found nothing = that's why I'm asking on the boards... Thanks anyway for your low effort... PS: Really need professional Opencart templates. If you can't help me: don't loose your time giving me stupid answers. Thanks. Thanks for helping me ASPHALT! Would like to have more options: if it exists! lol
Opencart is fairly new, you'll have to custom code if you really want a quality template. Even with developed platforms like joomla, the good templates (high quailty) go for over $79 usd easily.
Thanks guys: really appreciate your help! I was wondering how(where) can I code a .PSD template into a OpenCart template?
Open Cart uses the MVC model so you can take a look at the .tpl files or you can get someone to tackle this pretty cheaply in the BST section. I would check peoples work around here though. It can be a bit suspect. http://forum.opencart.com/ In some cases its better to fish someone off the carts forum as they are a bit more familiar with the required php hooks. Nigel
check amazons dot com it provides plenty of templates...u can create a template in photo shop but it takes a long time...joomla provides open cart ..you need to customize the templates for better quality... ..
I've seen lots of OpenCart templates so far and, to be honest, free templates are not at a professional level. So I guess you will have to pay for a professional looking one or build one yourself. If you are building one yourself, take a look at the MVC+L model in which OpenCart is made upon. Anyway, if you are not a programming pro and just want a fine looking shop, just buy yourself one. My recommendation for paid templates is opencarter.com, they don't have many templates, but they are the best I've seen by miles. I've bought a couple of them for my clients and they are amazing. Even more considering the price. So, if you want to save a few weeks of research, just go for this option. Hope this helps you find the light, mate. Cheers, John
