yes, I agree, it does depend on the niche a lot. I try and make general sites but also have topic related sites aswell that boost my income even higher at certain times of the year. I have one that from Novemeber to February jumps by over 150% because of the niche it is targeting, during the rest of the year this one site only earns $10 - $15 per day :(

The reason may that advertisers knows that people are just thinking about the FIFA, so maybe they have decided to stop some campaigns by the moment (I know i would) unless the stuffs I'm promoting be FIFA related.

Obviously your income has to do with your niche, not the World Cup. ;)

I have many local websites and those that source a large amount of traffic from football crazy countries seem to be affected as well.

I agree with you, earning or value of click is related with niche, because ads will appear accourding with conten, if niche is about football, so ads appear football etc, and value of football is small earning, :D.. I hope it can help

I totally agree with that, It's depend on your niche. Most of the entertainment seekers prefer to watch World Cup rather than browsing online.

Lot of niches will be down, even trading volume on the London Stock Exchange is down.
