My paypal account is currently premier but because of what I am currently using it for is mainly personal and for small amounts, the fee is not worth it, So is there anyway to downgrade a paypal account back to personal?

Is there a reason that you dont ask Paypal about this and get 1 good answer instead of asking here and get 5 different answers ? :)

Here is what you do :-

    1) Login to your Paypal account
    2) Click on 'Contact Us'
    3) Under 'Help by Email' click 'Contact Customer Service'
    4) On the left panel, click on either 'Getting Started' or 'My Account Profile'
    5) On the right panel, click 'Downgrade Account'
    6) Under Summarize your question state 'I want to Downgrade to a Personal Account'.
    7) Follow through from there.

Hope that helps. You can only downgrade once and if I am not wrong, if you downgrade, you cannot upgrade the account ever again so think long and hard on this.

Personal account cannot accept credit card transactions and has a monthly trading limit.

Really really simple. You are allowed 2 paypal accounts per person. One personal and one business/professional. Just open a second one and DON'T choose to accept credit cards from it. All your payments will have zero commission and all credit card payments will be rejected. You can refer them to your other account or request they pay by e-check.

So just make a second account.

Quoted for Truth, I dont know if you have ever dealt with paypal but if you can fix the problem without talking to them its best. I like paypal but they could use some work on the support end.
