Well I put up a site it is on the first page of google but still no sales from it... and its been quite awhile since I updated but i might just move onto another sniper.. but I did wanted to see if it was my content that wasn't selling so I used a google adwords coupon that was included with my hosting and I used up 5 bucks and made $67 Dollars but since it was a 50 dollar adwords coupon i used it all up and so it was 55 dollars adwords spent to make 67 bucks. But still i wont go into PPC. lol

    Just an update

yeah allot of e-books are not that great some will be helpful but the best thing you can do is try a few things in advertising.

From what I have learned online is why most people fail is because they

    1. do not get get enough traffic
    2. do not make enough sales from lack of traffic and good sales pages

even a crappy product and website can make money if it has a value to people and enough people see it they will eventually buy it

I cannot give you a magic ticket to success online but learn the art of advertising and copy writing or at least pay someone to do it

You have to be careful affiliate marketing. You could blow thousands of dollars pretty fast if you are not careful. You definatley need to know what you are doing.

you are wasting your time asking others to suggest you a ebook or course. first of all know your skills, interests etc. pick up a nich and then learn about it where ever possible then it may possible that after some time you would have some good knowledge to start.

That's the key. Don't get information overload. Find something that interests you and stick to it until you can either improve it or decide it's not right for you and then look for something else. But the main thing is to try and stay focused.

I thought it woulda been a start - but to be honest i just wanted to get a website to rank high on the search engines without spending alot of money, if not any money on ppc. And see if I can get this affiliate marketing happening for me. SO what im doing now is working part time at toyota for as an auto detailer.. and when i get back home and have the time i get on making my sites. also i know the outcome might be wasting alot of time etc etc.. but im willing to risk that for maybe about a year or more to see how this goes.

If anyone has better ideas or dont agree what im doing- pls say more :) lol

I would not be asking questions here for starters! Could be possibly be any more sincere about that statement either.

You aren't going to learn much by reading stuff, you need to be actively doing stuff. Because, what works in theory or for someone else may not necessarily work for you.
For instance, someone might say you can't make money in X but you may find that you can.

However, if you want some resources on Affiliate Marketing, then you should start here - http://uberaffiliate.com/affiliate-marketing-guide/uber-affiliate-marketing-guide/ you may find some useful information here.

I liked Google Sniper though it's not one of the most solid guides.

If you're looking to jump start into affiliate marketing hang on the forums, you'll get the scoop. (it's not rocket science)

Buy gold, it's tripled in value in the last 10 years and could triple again. Otherwise save your money and invest some time, focus, and effort. But if you want to spend it, talk to me lol.

Well this is a good start PPC never suited me to be honest. One thing you could conside is buying an established site that has income. Take a look at www.flippa.com and look about, beware there are people selling a lot of crap on there but every now and again there are some gems. Also watch out for the flipper who just build a site to flip it. As your a newbie it would be a good idea to get a second opinion as to if the site is wort buying etc. I am more than happy to offer help on this...

If you're just starting out, here are the things I'd suggest learning:

    1. How to identify a profitable niche and choose a good product in that niche to promote.

    2. Keyword research and basic SEO.

    3. Writing pre-sell content (ie: writing articles on a topic that people in your niche would be searching for and submitting them to Ezinearticles or Articlesbase) that makes people click on your affiliate link and check out the product.

If you can master these 3 things, then you can make money as an affiliate because it's really no more complicated than that. That's not to say it's EASY to do, or you won't make mistakes as you're learning, but if you have a product that people want to buy, you get your content in front of the people who want to buy it and your content makes them click over to the product sales page, and you do this consistently, you'll make money.
