I see nothing wrong with this. The only problem that could arise is some noobs start causing shit because they believe everything is about religion, e.g thinking that because they're Muslim, they're all evil.
I find the very idea deeply repulsive. A friend of mine died in building 1 that was hit on 9/11. He didn't just die. He was murdered. He had a wife, two kids, a sister, parents, other relatives and friends. Not only did he have nothing to do with anyones complaints griefs, stances etc....but he was a gentle and talented individual with an amazing past. Decades ago as a young American radical he might have been someone who spoke out supporting the Islamic fanatics. maybe yes, maybe no. Later he developed his skills as a musician to be hired by a major city orchestra. That labeled him as one of the best French Horn players in the nation. Simultaneously he used his skill and training as an economist to become one of the nation's experts on precious metals, became a quoted authority on metals, and landed a strong job on Wall Street servicing an international clientele in this specialty. Really a unique and talented individual. All that aside he was a caring friend, but most of all he was a loving family man. He was murdered by fanatics within the Islamic religeon. I have friends who are Muslim. I've had Muslim neighbors. I've dined, barbecued, taken care of their kids, etc. They are my friends. They aren't fundamentalist crazed muslims that are out to destroy humanity and inflict a crazed view on the rest of the world. There is no need for a religious entity on or near that piece of ground that was the target of a distorted crazed element of the Muslim religion. OTOH, NYC is a big place with opportunities for mosques anywhere. Anywhere but there. There is a place in the USA for religious freedom and there is a place for respect for the murdered souls who were sacrificed on that ground by the most distorted sick, killing entity, that is part of that religion. Its a disgrace IMHO.
I love their reasoning behind calling it the Cordoba Initiative, pointing out how they have defeated America. They are right you know. The Americans of today don't have the gumption that our ancestors did. We simply don't have what it takes to fight and win. We have nothing to match the raw barbaric force of Islam. The Muslims want to win and they are willing to do anything to do it. They are wiling to use their own children as human shields just to get a good TV spot for their cause. Americans are tired of fighting and just want to watch television and feel good about themselves. Civilization is doomed.
