It is my understanding that moving up the rankings in the search engines involves a process of systematically choosing and buying backlinks. i can tell you are a n00b so basically start reading and learning. you have months if not years of learning ahead of you.

 

SEO is not overnight. You have to experiment different sites before you know how everything works.

 

It really depends on your budget. If you are working on a very low budget, then you had better start learning and doing yourself.

If you have money then hire an SEO professional. Let them do the work. I firmly believe in the principle of working on your business as opposed to working in your business.

Dear there is no formula for increasing the ranking automatically.but according to me main thing is that title should be relevant according to the site.key word is the main thing on which the whole site depends.quality should be maintained in it.link building also play a vital role in increasing the rank.

 

i want to ask to you first, you make blog for who? visitors right? so, if your blog want to rank up of google, the first thing is make many good articles, after you have a lot of good articles, the visitor and rank of your blog will be rank up, because many people clicks your blog on SERP. Clicks on google = 1st rank on google.

You hit the nail on the head Alan. To know something in theory is not that difficult but to translate knowledge into experience is another issue all together. The SEO theory is fairly simplistic and information is readily available. The trick is to be able to stay as current with Google Algorithms ( Which isn't as easy seeing as it is so secretive ) and work yourself consistently into a decent SERP position.

Thereafter depending on what you are providing content for or how competitive your keyword is, you would still need to push your way ahead of the pack to get to those people to view your articles. That is where the job of SEO ( both On Page and Off Page ) will make a huge difference in you writing the best content and only getting 1 visitor a month or 10,000 visitors a month
