Paypal Verification

I had initiated the Bank verification in the month of Feb...now in my paypal account....it shows steps 1 and 2 completed but i never received the 2 amounts in my sbi account....and i havent got the PAN card also so far...playpal keep sending me this Reminder which says

 This bank account was added to your PayPal account on 2/26/2010 and ends in the last four digits 5699.

Please complete security steps 2 and 3 to be able to start funding payments with your bank account.
How To Set up Bank Funding

PayPal has made two small deposits into your bank account. These deposits should now be in your bank account. 

Step 1: Completed

Step 2: Contact your bank to find out the exact amounts of the two deposits that PayPal sent to your bank account. 

Step 3: Log in to your PayPal account. Click on the "Set up Bank Funding" link in the "Activate Account" box and enter the two deposit amounts.

You can try detaching this bank account and again after sometime, attach the same and initiate the verification process once again!

you need to wait for the two deposits to be updated on your account , i think ..

 

Nope, I guess the problem is with OP's bank account. Just contact your bank for more clarification. If you dont get satisfy answer then contact paypal regarding your situation.

 

i think itz taking time for the payment to appear in bank accnt .

You are telling that "Deposits are there by PayPal". If you got deposited then enter then in your PayPal account. Then your problem solved. If not, ask PayPal to send again.

 

Is it possible to ask paypal to send the deposits again?

This is what i got from payal when i contacted them about the above issue..

 

well, i guess small amounts are not available online.
Instead go to the bank and give them your bank passbook, ask them to enter the transaction,
I did this week and go the small deposits.
Even i had the same, SBI account only.

 

Check whether, there is mistake in account no., name in paypal etc..

Well even I have the same problem but mine is a different case, instead of making 2 small deposits its made three small withdrawals of Re 1 each , when I contacted PayPal they said they are working on the issue but nothing happened for a couple of days, when I contacted them again they said its better to confirm using Credit card. So I left it as it is.

 

I updated the passbok...no trace of the so called two small deposits

 

Ask them to include ATM transactions as well. otherwise PayPal wont show up.

For those who do not have credit cards, a debit card will serve the same purpose as well. Verifying your account would make you more trustworthy in the eyes of the counter party...
