Chitika approved me for GOLD level ads today

Today, I got a mail from Chitika that one of the my domains are approved as GOLD domains and I will get much better targeted ads from today. They claim that GOLD publishers have high CTR% as well as high dollar rates per ad click as the ads are extremely targeted and serve a niche area.

I already earn a decent income through chitika using my homegrown techniques so it will be interesting to see the jump now. Check out the chitika ads quality yourself today, keying in keywords as SCM and ERP Trends or SCM and ERP Strategies or SCM and ERP Best Practices in Google searchbox and you will find the domain infoverto.com on first page...rather one of the first 3 results

congrats! now let us know if it makes any difference in earnings. I got tired of waiting I'm trying out an alternative (see my signature) and it is going very well. So far earnings are about 12 times chitika (almost $1 eCPM) and I get to see CTR, something chitika removed from their reporting to hide their poor performance

Since you are the first site on this forum to get the new "gold" category, can you give us an idea of your traffic or impressions recorded by chitika? That would go a long ways to explain wtf it takes to be a "gold" site. Thanks

 

well i was approved for silver but now i will be getting myself out of chitika
they are paying very less,even less than adbrite

 

how are the ads doing?

Its been about 14 days since you posted you got the "gold" ads running....

DO you see a big difference or is it all a waste of time?

First Report Out:
first 4 days - no difference at all
next 8 days - 10% more revenue
I think, the wait needs to be for at least 2 weeks more before we can see the difference in revenue. One thing to note though - the revenue per click is more but number of clicks have reduced slightly - might be unrelated but wanted to inform everybody

How you get this information? Chitika removed CPC data from their reports. You can see only eCPM and impressions, but not number of clicks and not CPC.

Is Chitika approving sites again? I have been waiting. They sent email stating they were holding off on approving new publishers a couple of months ago. So, I'm still waiting.

Today I got approved for chitika Silver ads for my site magicaldentistry.com , can anybody tell me if it is better than adbrite or not.
Can I use both chitika and adbrite on the same website..

 

for my silver they show only amazon ads, and not related ads. I removed them almost completely.
I suggest you to try anyways.

all my domains are in permanent "Pending Approval for Gold". even 6 month i have stopped displaying their $0.1/click ads.
