How to block Google from Advertising their own services

I have a lot of image banner ads showing Google advertising their services like "Get a free Google business listing" and similar stuff.

I think it's causing a CTR decrease, plus I just went on 10+ different pages of my site and every ad shown was for Googles stuff.

Also, if I filtered their ads out, will they dislike that and look to removing my account. If I do filter them out, what url do I add to my filter. I tried http://www.google.com but still showing the ads.

    Thanks!

Not 100% sure yet, but no ads are showing at the mo for Google services. Maybe it took a small bit of time to filter through.

The ads you are seeing are not always what everyone else is seeing. I notice that the more I view my websites, the more I see Google's ads.

I know they are not always what everyone else c's, but still got rid of them as if I can see them, the odds is that other site users can see them, but not all of them I guess.

In anycase, not had a google services ad for a while now. As to Digitalpoint, I'm mainly seeing the same ads as I was seeing on my own site.

that is right. If you have been in googles services for a long time they may well show you those ads based on information they have taken from you. The google network is all about giving the user what they think they want to see. Your website visitors will almost certinaly be seeing something else. Why not try from a friends computer or something and see what they get on their screen?

Its difficult to track google's ads content presentation, may be they are tracking your adsense account login IP with the viewers IP to avoid fake clicking or accidental clicking .

There is not such type of editing option available right now. But i think this is great to see in future. because google are now doing only spamming all over their service. Place their add everywhere. Its looks to irritating.

Just go to your adsense account->adsense setup->Competitive Ad Filter->here enter google.com and any other google domains like google.in, google.it....etc
