Is this correct bandwidth for this much visitors?

    Hi, For my website prepareinterview.com, daily (unique) visits are around 1000 but bandwidth goes around 1GB daily. So monthly comes around 25GBB for this I have to pay a lot. Is this bandwidth is Ok for this much visitors? Please clarify. Please let me know if you need any addtional information. Thanks a lot for your help

    25GB looks very excesive for daily 1257 pages loaded.

    It is uncommon. One of my website has a similar amount of visitors and only consume around 50 megabytes daily.

    1. What kind of your website? Is your website a download portal or something?
    2. How many images do you have on homepage? Is that images are large?
    3. Have you ever checked if you could see any malicious code infected on your homepage? I have experienced this and found some correlation between bandwidth consumed and malicious code when it's in place.

    Sorry... I messed i think. nearly 1Gb per day with 1270 page views. (monthly bandwidth comes around 25GB). Is this still abnormal? I removed some images after you people advice. But donno about caching system activation or image compress. help!

    25GB for 30K visitors is way to much. My hosting got 60GB each month for a good price so i don't know which host you got but it must be a cheap one or a bad deal.

    You have enough of images so it can take about 1GB per day.
    Try to find hosting with unlimited BW or with 50-200 GB month

    Thanks for your valuable suggestions.. even i am searching for unlimited bandwidth or bandwidth around 100gb/month. I am from India, loading time of pages takes more time since i have hosted in deccanhosting(US server). Do anyone knows about datacenters in India with unlimited bandwidth with reasonable cost?
