How to get traffic to newly built Adsense website?

I know this question has been asked by more than 10 times.
I have read many threads in this forum, and also in another forum about it.
The problem is none of them were working for me :(
So far, I just got 3 unique visitor a day!
(my website has been online for a month)

    I have tried these:
    1. Creating unique and useful contents (I update my website every 3 days).
    2. Submit them to various free articles directories.
    3. Doing link baiting; made an informative feedback on popular blogs.
    4. Submitting my website to various directories.
    5. Doing SEO (off-site and in-site optimization)

The best way I can recommend is to participate in related forums, at least for initial traffic. Don't spam with links to your site though, but just leave the url to your site in the signature.

Eg - if your site's dealing with gardening, just join a gardening forum. Post helpful replies to questions such as "How do I get my bean sprouts to grow in winter ..." or even post stuff like "Great!" "Fantastic!" to vanity threads that show of a picture of their flower or latest mower.

I find forum participation to be one of the greatest indicator of the potential profitability of the new site, simply because the visitors are immediate, and you can gauge their reaction to your site, ie whether they click anything, and also get a feel for how much you can earn per click.

The funny thing is, sometimes you may be the only one to reply to a thread, but there'll be tons of visitors who'll read your reply and click through to your site.

If the forum is also spidered by the search engines, great, because the search engine will follow the link to your site too.

You can EASILY get at least 100 new visitors by simply submitting your site to RedDit, Digg, Delicious, Fark, NewsVine and other social bookmarking type sites. However, your content has to be REALLY GOOD, because Web 2.0 crowd don't really click ads.

    Thanks for those tips..
One of my articles just featured on eioba.com,
and my traffic suddenly increased by 500% (still below 100 uniques/ day,
    but it surprised me).

You should because these are some free traffic that will help you take off well. However, careful not to get banned from these sites. You can also use stumbleupon, techtagg and netscape as well.

More important than all of that, study the mindset of the searchers
and the prospects who are most likely to click on your adsense ads.

Even if you get all that traffic, if your content and adsense doesn't
match or isn't what the searchers are looking for, you won't make
ANY money. It happened to me because I was stupid and didn't
    do enough research.

I thought I could make money from a certain keyword that was paying alot
but the market just wasn't interested in the adsense ads.
