If the site is down it does not affect the ads.

    PS: Great site ranking ;)

First Check Any email you receive From Adsense
Then Check The Webmastertools for Your site is Still Resides on Google Indexing Or Not

There is some unique case, like banned on certain website but not overall account. I have had one website that Google Adsense were displayed before then disappeared. I have found later that the website has some issue not comply to TOS but they chose to ban certain website instead of my whole account. This is because I have no intention to break their TOS and the I had no idea about the issue that is "issue" anyway.

I recommend you use the Ads Diagnostic Tool to know why your ad may not be showing. Also, please read through Reference 2 to know the most common reasons for ad not running.
Also, you can use the Ad Preview Tool to to view ads as they would appear on a normal Google search results page, without accruing extra impressions for your ad.

The idea of discussing it on Google adsense forum is an ideal one. I would also recommend the same.
