Whenever my friend is trying to withdraw funds from PayPal, he is getting this message. "Accounts with limited access may not perform this type of electronic transfer." He has withdrawal limit of $500 and this is his first withdrawal from that account. The account is almost 2years old but unverified. Need quick suggestion.
Your friend needs to remove limited access from his paypal account first by following steps at resolution section. DON.
But as you said he is getting below given message "Accounts with limited access may not perform this type of electronic transfer." DON.
Yes, he is getting the message. But the account is not limited. It's strange. He checked Account Overview, nothing in there. But still he is getting the meaasge.
Then your friend need to contact paypal and let them know of this issue. Contacting them through phone for faster response. DON.
If the account is unverified then it's obviously have no privilege or access for withdrawal. The account owner should verify it first either through banks of credit card information for him to be able to withdraw his paypal credits.
But my other friends are withdrawing via PayPal for last 1 yr and still the accounts are unverified. If you have a limit of $500, why can't you withdraw ???
If he's been withdrawing the last 1 yr then maybe he exceeded the withdrawing limit for his unverified paypal account.
As i said earlier that easy and quick way to sort out this issue is to give them (paypal) a phone call. DON.
Hmm.. You need to add the CC to verify it first! And also there a amount limit for withdrawing while using Unverified paypal account!
I reckon the $500 isn't the limit for withdrawal but for sending money using paypal credits from unverified account. As far as I remember, you can't really withdraw at paypal if your account is unverified with banks or credit card.
Well, we Indians can. He checked the limits : Monthly Withdrawal Limit : $500 Monthly Sending Limit : $500 While withdrawing : $500 withdrawal remaining
