This has been refuted here by my husband, which easily explain the issue as well. Long story short, there was never a "porn site" owned by any of us at any point of time. Phuket is indeed a crazy place! Many of the working girls are from the Muslim Southern provinces of Thailand, but many of the working girls aren't girls at all! I didn't see any child prostitution in Phuket. I'm really not sure that the local government would put up with it. They seem rather serious about the few laws which they do enforce.

A friend of mine who just broke up with his fiance had his 40th b-day party there last week. Smoking hash is pretty common for Muslims throughout northern Africa, but I've heard Egypt actually hosts proper dens of iniquity with the dance of seven veils and so-forth. Its on my list, but its going to have to wait a year or two.
