Wordpress guest post plugin

Anyone use a guest post plugin? I want to encourage guest posts so I can publish more content daily. I'd like to offer a guitar giveaway or something for guest posts and/or reviews on my blog.

My site is about guitars and gear and obviously with only 7 writers, its impossible to review every guitar out there. So I am trying to strategize a method to find guest posts. This will also help me find good writers to hire full time as well.

If anyone can give some insight how I can execute this would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you just use the "users" part of wordpress? Have people register/signup through the normal wordpress login. Freeze the user, so they can only post once approved. They are only an author, so publishing is at your control too etc etc.

Good question. That might be the best way of doing it. I found a plugin called TDO Mini Forms, but seems to be a bit complicating to tweak.

    (1) It varies the content of your pages, posts or text widgets based on special markup in the text that you publish.

    (2) It allows you to post to multiple blogs with one click. You can limit this feature to posts that belong to specific categories.

The plug-in has multiple uses related to (1), (2) or both. You can write one "morphing" post and automatically publish unique versions to multiple blogs. You can include a unique shadow copy of an existing post on another page of the same blog with different keywords. You can use it to test the effectiveness of different ad copy or to create self-rewriting articles that can be copied and pasted from your web pages to publish in article directories.

Instead of having people log into your blog's back end, you can use a plugin that allows submission via simple form. I have created this one for that reason: Wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-guest-post/ Hope you like it:)

If you're willing to pay for it, then try GravityForms. It is one of the best plugins to create custom forms and can be used easily to create post submission forms.
