Hi there, I ran a test to verify whether this was true.. check it out. Google de-indexing sites with duplicated content
I think those links might be dropped or punished by Digg.com and thus could not be found on Google. Duplicated content penalty might be only happen on the same domain, IMO. Thanks,
The site was indexed. I Google it using the site command four hours after creation. So later, I added the link on Digg. On the next day, I searched for the site again and it was removed. Basically, when a site is indexed the first time, Google only index the main page. Later, the Googlebot return to index all other pages. But on this case it was removed. So IMO Google banned it because all those articles.
Will this be true? I have setup autoblog and i am sure all of them has duplicate content but i still get some googel traffic as well. I think are not clear yet whether it is correct or not but 100% that googe does not love duplicate content but i have nofollow link pointing out so this would be help me to voiding google penalized
I do not know what kind of autoblog system you have, most of them only take a teaser of the article along with the link but not the entire article.
I don't think this is an entirely accurate statement. Google will not remove you from the index due to duplicate content, but sites will not rank competitively in the SERPs if you are deemed to have copied or are sharing content with other websites.
As long as not 100% of your consent is duplicated then you shouldn't have problems. If you have duplicated posts but also original content I don't think that your site will be deindexed. Just think how many hundreds and thousands of times the articles from bbc or cnn get republished all over the net. Also, the articles for ezinearticles get republished over and over. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as I also have original content on my site.
