Do you know Quota? It is the first time I heard it today. But I know little about it. Someone told me that it is a little similar with Yahoo Answer, it it?
Yes, Quora whic is in closed in beta is the sane as Yahoo Answers and Wikipedia it was established by the ex-facebook employess and former CTO Adam D'Angelo. I would love an invite.
Quora, a new startup founded by ex-Facebook employees, has closed a first round of funding, and it’s a big one. Benchmark Capital has led the round and general partner Matt Cohler has taken a board seat at the company (Cohler is a former Facebook exec).
Earlier this morning I went to check out Quora, the well-funded discussion site started by former Facebook CTO Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever, who previously led Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect. Quora is one of the few web services I actually enjoy using, mostly because of the high quality of engagement with other Silicon Valley people. But before letting me through the door today, it asked me to agree to new terms of service. Though the question-and-answer site is still in private beta, current users have been contributing their knowledge without any terms of service in place. A friend who pinged me later called the terms of service draconian, and I have to agree. Quora now says that it essentially owns everything you do on its service. It’s given itself the right to “use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute†any content contributed by users.
I had tried one but I would prefer Yahoo answer over Quora for now. Quora is not a comparable to Yahoo answer in my opinion, even they are close enough.
hi everyone.. anybody got any quora invites , wanna share with me? you can email it to me at > thanks a lot friends..
This is very unwise of you sharing your email address and helping the email harvesters to send you spams....
Hi there! I am writing in this old post to ask if any of you have a quora invite for share, i'd love it! Thanks in advance Luca
Quora's service allows users to ask questions and give answers. Additionally, users can comment on the questions and answers and "upvote" or "downvote" the answers. An "Answer Summary" can be created to reflect the consensus of the community. This summary is a wiki that can be edited by any registered user. Recently a blogging feature called Quora Posts has been added.
I think it would be great if Quora will be a new yahoo answer but without the 15 years old questioning about their love life!
