Building an affiliate website, should I use .biz or .us ?

Im building an affiliate website and the url with my keyword is available in .biz or .us , which would you choose?

 

Neither both. I prefer to use the exact keyword and add post fix at the end of the domain using a COM. Or just look for another keyword

You could use things like "how to", "for","4" then your keyword .com..........or dash "-" your keywords .com.....

 

For example:
Keyword:cheap deskop computers
domain will be: cheapdesktopcomptuersite.com
I added "site" at the end of the domain. Just avoid placing extra words at the beginning.

 

yah, I got confuse on fix? you mean pix or picture?but thats not possible.

 

I am sorry I was talking about a post-fix. Adding a tail word to the domain name.

 

Keyword optimization is the actual key if you want to build an affiliate site or blog. What Nikomaster said is true...

 

using the exact keyword on a domain with us or biz would benefit you more in terms of SEO compared to using a .com domain adding a generic word next to your keyword. you will need to consider whats more important for you. whether it is brand awareness or it is SEO benefit you will go after

 

Neither. I prefer .com for affiliate sites. Google could care less which you use, but users typically view .com sites as more legitimate. .org is great if you're creating an information kind of site. .net is probably 2nd best from a users perspective... So from a search engine perspective it doesn't matter. From a user perspective, you will get a much higher click-thru-rate with a .com, .org, or .net domain.

But really... How many .biz and .us sites do you see in the SERPs? And if you see them, how many times have YOU clicked on one?
