google has change his algorithm so it count only quality links so do proper SEO for your site generally use facebook and twitter use for link whiling thats use full for your site
Google's WMT is a must, but I do wonder about WMT though, as there are never as many links showing there as there are in say Yahoo's results, in my experience.
Hi...................It is very good things you got good backlinks but you have to check the Google webmaster tools why you got the low backlinks and do the blog commenting for your website and also forum posting with link signature.
That's not entirely true. They count all backlinks equally (or as many as their spiders find) but their weighting for backlinks is different. Google doesn't show the real backlink situation anywhere (not even in WMT) but you can count on it that they know every link you got and every link affects your site's profile in someway.
Of course they do. Link is a link no matter what attributes it has. Nofollow simply means that the site the link is on isn't "recommending" that link. What you have to understand is that nofollow was launched to combat comment spam. It was soon proven over and over again that Google still followed nofollow links making nofollow name misleading which was the point in the first place. The "problem" now is that nofollow was abused for process called pagerank sculpting and it was taken out of it's original usage scenario. Now this means that every natural link profile consists nofollow links. Many platforms automatically put all external links as nofollow to be more "seo friendly" which results in the fact that nofollow has lost it's original meaning and it would be bad for search engines to automatically discount all nofollow links. If I don't remember wrong, Google said publicly while ago that they have "stopped pagerank sculpting" which can only mean one thing - nofollow links are being counted like every other links but instead of relying on the attributes of the link, they are relying on context analysis.
