yeah you can use wordpress, and throw on Paypal to accept payments, that's probably the easiest way to accept credit card from your customers right away.
Wordpress with a shopping cart addon - there are a few popular ones in the plugins directory of wordpress. Paypal or 2CO would be the best for your setup.
