Videoweed - UnOfficial Thread

Yeah. Anyone know a fast convert site? I use them before they convert video fast at first but now it took 5h for 1 video.

 

ok.... right - when VW finally sort out their payments they will pay ALL the pending payouts even if they were from back when it was $15 min payout.
@conversion time - I have been informed they will be investing in new servers for this job (this means more of them and more powerful)

this is all the info I have atm - Im sorry but well i'm not a team member so am not told everything.

 

I have been using videoweed for over 3 months now and my conclusion would be:
THEY SUCK ASS.

Im sorry but i can not say anything positive about them and this is why:

-They used to pay out with paypall but after 3 months they removed the option and made it only possible to get payments trough moneybookers. I SIGNED UP BECAUSE IT PAYED OUT WITH PAYPALL I WANT PAYPALL.
-Their stat system sucks balls, they do not show anything no views no clicks no nothing only earnings which updates like 3 times a day if you are lucky.
-Their servers are terribly slow it takes ages to load / upload any vid.
-They used to pay out if you reached the 15$ limit now it got 100$.

and they made all these changes after i uploaded loads of videos which cost me time of course.

its all in their right these changes but they would have lost me after only one of these

So I'm saying BYE BYE to VideoWeed.

 

ok my comments on above:
1: yes they stopped paypal - paypal said something about fraud or some shit so they said bye bye - they will be offering wire transfer but moneybookers is fine with me
2: yes their stat system is crap tbh but im sure it updates more than 3 times a day ^^
3: loading a vid is fast for me... im .eu so... fast download speed from their .nl servers - on upload - I upload using a 1gbit connection and get about 4MB/s which is quite nice so... upload speed is due to your speed
4: min payout should only be a problem for those earning less than $100/month

 

1: so they just stop with paypal and all people that signed up because of that can say bye bye to their money?
2: maybe a bit more than 3 times but you get my point its very inaccurate and does not get updated very often.
3: i live in the netherlands so it has to be fast too with me and your right it sometimes is fast but often it isnt too.
4: i know but it is not fair to the people that earn less than that they have to wait for months before they reach that limit.

 

1: yeh I understand that - anoyed me too but I went and signed up to moneybookers... - not much of a problem - I move all money to bank anyway
2: yeah it is inaccurate - I would like to see money go up in $0.00 tbh - I have suggested this but nothing yet
3: hmm yeah that might be during peek times when they have lots of customers.... but no idea tbh i rarely watch vids on VW - I like to download

The biggest problem right now would be convert time . And it makes VW crap because no one watch VW links after Megavideo links out.

 

Well videoweed isnt doing very well i stopt using them along time ago still waiting for the payments i move to novamov at least there rates a desend and you can see more info about the files views. I know there are very busy dealing payment problems but it is taking a long time

Ive started to convert to FLV myself... on a few... using ImToo FLV converter.

 

It will be quality double reduction =.=

 

if you convert to flv yourself - videoweed will not convert it again - so you could even upload a 1GB flv file and it will not be converted - as soon as you upload it will say transfering

 

Videoweed currently has the status of "Under Maintenance!" - no idea why this is, could be error fixing or even that coversion server update i mentioned - more info later.

 

Well, I stick with zshare for now, they convert faster . Let hop VW will fix this problem soon since zshare don't pay.

yes mate youre right, nobody can say when and if they pay only jimbo has contact to them but he even dont know when they´ll pay he only say that they´ll pay us since 2 months but nothing happened no answer to the mails no facts no news site where they tell us something about the situation

 

ya..their past activities(actually no activities) are pushing them to the grand status of a "SCAM"..

 

Well my first payment is still pending 2010/04/07 i reqeust if they are not paying this month they are becoming scammers for me.
