my website has hundreds of pages.. and my problem is !!! is there any way to determine how many pages have missed the analytics code.. i need urgent help
dear first you select all page url which upload in your server or you can also get it by create xml site map when you got it by standerd replacement you can add Analytic track code on all pages
Dreamweaver can seach the whole site, you can input the code of google analytics, and seach the whole site, the pages that do not include this code may missed the analytics. Probably not works, but just have a try. Good luck!
i suggest to create a footer script for your site.. where you can just add your analytic code and just call it on every page..
Dream weaver search is the best to add analytics code in your pages. Download the pages and search through dream weaver you can get the pages with out analytics and add in those page
Hi. In order for Google Analytics to work, all pages of your website must have the Google Analytics Tracking code on the page. Usually you would put it at the bottom of the page, just above the </body> tag. You should probably have your webmaster help with this. Yes, all your pages will track visits only if it has the Google Analytics code on it. If you go to that page and view source (see below for how to do this in different browsers), search for google (inside of the source code). At the bottom of the page you'll see the code.
I assume your website is manual HTML page and not a dynamic script like Joomla or Wordpress. You can use Editplus to help you get this problem solved. It is very simple - just open all files in Editplus and do search for analytic code in each and every pages. You would get the pages do not have the code contained in a few minutes.
