Get my site on page 1 for this keyword

Hi,
I would like to hire someone to get my sites homepage to 1st page on google for the keyword "Dubstep". Tell me how much time it will take on average and how much you want to be paid for doing it. If anyone is interested please pm me.

Are you targeting people in the UK? Or in the US?

Do you even know how competitive this is? I cannot imagine that it is competitive at all... I've never even heard of it before.

 

That is easily possible to first page. Try to get back links from high pr sites. Really You will get it on first page. All the best.

 

It's certainly do'able, although I doubt it will be as quick as people have mentioned. Do you have dubstep in the domain name? and have you already optimised on page factors, like title tag etc, also do you already have any decent backlinks? there may be things you have missed which will give you an immediate boost, but if you don't have good backlinks that's what could take some time. It's quite niche, so it will probably be hard to find authority sites who would link to you, the record companies spring to mind, but I expect it's unlikely they would link out to you.

 

It's highly competitive with over 4 million searches a month, nearly 9 million results in the SERPs. First page is dominated by wikipedia, then mainly by sites with dubstep in the domain (dubstep.fm, dubstep.co.uk etc)... getting a front page result will not be as easy as everyone seems to think.

I had a quick look at your site and can see some ways to quickly improve your SEO:

You are missing a meta description, this is really important.
You don't have any H1 tags/H2 tags/strong tags/em tags. All your headings are H3, they should be H1 or H2 to be of higher importance to the spiders.
You use the word dubstep way too many times in your title and meta keywords, google will penalise this a spam.
You don't have much content, the site needs plenty of keyword rich content and fresh content needs to be added often so the site gets crawled more often, at the moment you rank better for "Dubstep Forum" than "Dubstep" because the content of the forum is rich in related keywords, unique content and is updated more often.
All the content on your homepage needs to needs to be unique, I found 229 matches from other sites using exactly the same content for your section on "What is Dubstep" which is the majority of the content on your homepage!

Why does everyone here place so much importance on backlinks and ignore essential SEO?

Thanks for all the info guys. I am pretty new to website building and seo etc as you can probably tell.
I have tried to get backlinks from other dubstep sites but they wouldn't exchange links. I think it is because my site is only 4-5 months old, I'm not sure.

@Steve_Gts: Yes my domain name does have the word dubstep in it although it is the second word.

@Social Media: I am targeting people in the US and UK but mainly the UK as dubstep is bigger within the here.

So is there any easier way to improve page rank other than add content every day? I will try to add new content but It's hard as most of it usually ends up in the forum. Here is my site url: yourdubstep[dot]com

"Dubstep" i think there is not to be any competitor from this keyword and also its not a strong one so dear you don't have to pay for this this can also do you by some basic seo factors.

ok i got your link... first of all i need to say that your site is content reach so optimization is quite easy but we are talking about single phase keyword so it will take a time to optimize..(6 months) and at preset it showing me on rank 300+ in google.. so PM with ur budget for this project ...i am ready to work with any cost but i need constant work if possible...thanks for your support..

You don't need to add content every day, just make regular updates. The more often you update the content the more often the search engines will come back and index your site, also the engines will return you higher in the results because it they see an active site.

Now dubstep will take time to score well for but you should consider broadening your target keywords, I have identified opportunities for these phrases:

"Dubstep Tutorials" as there is far less competition for this phrase and you already rank on the first page at number 5 for this phrase. Also if the people searching for this term find your tutorials useful they are likely to share the content with friends which means not only are they more likely to return but also they'll bring in more traffic and create backlinks. There are around 500 people a month searching for this term and a further 15,000 searching for the singular term "Dubstep Tutorial" which you rank on the second page at position 13. Searches for these terms are steadily rising and if you were to add them to your site meta description, title and H1/H2 headings and then you'd easily climb up the ranks for both terms.

"Filthy Dubstep" - 12,000 searches a month and low competition. This would also be a good thread in the forum, filthy dubstep tunes are always being released so easy to keep this up to date and lets face it... everyone loves a bit of filthy dubstep!
