Let me know what you think about the template, layout, where I should add some adsense (if I decide to) etc. What would you guys do to improve it? You can also submit your blogs for free (non recip and no nofollow). Any sort of feedback will be appreciated Here it is: www.BlogParty.NET Mike (Btw. the old forum is now on the .com and some other content will be moved onto new pages that the homepage will link to)
How are you planning to promote this web-site - I think, it could be interested for blog site owners, and that is all. To say true, I don't see future in it right now. Think and analize
My focus is to right now build a good database of sites. I'm thinking long-term more than anything. I don't accept blogs with little content or which don't serve any purpose other than generating revenue. I'm already getting 400-500 uniques daily due to previous blog related content which I have since moved (contests, forum etc.)
It's nice, simple, easy to navigate and pleasant on the eyes. I'm not sure how much feedback you were after, but I have a suggestion. Perhaps changing the <b> tags to <strong> tags and giving a little (maybe 10px) of padding between the category links and the subcategories above them to provide a little more separate. Even giving them a different link color. Just my $0.02, but it's already a great site.
It's simply awesome BlogMaster Specially the colour combination is awesome I think you should not put adsense in the site as it looking very nice and after adsense i think it will not look nice Regards, Saad
Looks good, it would benefit from a few new sections IMO _Technology |_Gadgets _Computers |_Software |_Hardware
I've just now read this. Thanks. I've never really thought about using <strong> instead of <b> before. Checking it out now as well. got them in, thanks! Thanks, it's interesting you say that, since I've been debating myself between adding adsense or not. I think I want to keep it adsense free and just have sponsored listings and a couple of advertising banner spaces on the bottom for now.
Thanks One more question: Do you guys think that the logo that I have on the forum, should be on the directory as well?
No, I don't know But I have own directory - hosting directory - and found it's hard to promote it. I got many companies listed there, also with hosting plans, but I don't have value traffic of people, who is looking for hosting. I think I need to work on google direction. About you site - it will be good also to combine rss feeds from blogs, so your site have always new content. Just an advise. P.S. yes, I think Mike is very popular and known. Didn't notices number of posts
How about a: Art -> Computer generated art or some category like that. I might know a 3d modelling blog for that category.
Lemme ask you this: Do you guys think that having "art" as a main category is good, or will the section remain virtually empty?
