My Work IP Banned?

A coworker and I tried to sign up for digitalpoint forums at the same time from work, every time we tried to do it our usernames were deleted. I signed up from my house and I got in the first time I tried. Can we please have 99.37.92.72 taken off the blacklist? I don't know why it would be there.

It appears your co-worker holds duplicate accounts which is not allowed.

No he does not. Everysince the first time we tried to sign up it said we have a duplicate account. He sits right beside me. I assure you we do not have another account. Maybe someone else here at work has an account and that is triggering the filter?

Why are you making 2 minutes a part back to back posting?

Because it was a reply to the post I made, are you a moderator? Why are you trolling my thread?

I made a thread on this already, and it was completely ignored.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1817006

They only way I can get noticed is to create another thread and ask the same question again. Why is it that no one here at work can create an account and not get banned for duplicate accounts? I assure you there is more than one person behind our IP, much like many other networks, there are multiple people behind a single ip. At my house there is at least 4 different people. Why are they banned immediately for having duplicate accounts? Can we get this rectified please?

Because vBulletin can't know that there are different people. It assumes it's one person signing up for 2 accounts. Also, why do you have to sign up at work anyway? You should be working! lol

Our line of work deals with web development in addition to other things. For example, buying links, hiring developrs, etc.
My coworker doesn't have a computer at home. My boss already had an account here at digitalpoint but it was banned for duplicate accounts. (I think)

roopajyouthi, if a member has been banned for having a duplicate account and signs up again using your method all of his/hers accounts will be banned again. Ban time is extended for each duplicate account made. Your suggestion would hurt a member rather than help.

Use a Proxy server with a IP hider imo jk mods dont ban me! But it is a solution for a IP duplication where you actually don't have the 2 accounts

So we need to wait two years, because noone here at digitalpoint can do anything about it? That seems like laziness.

Please read the whole post >.>
