I don't recommend using godaddy for web hosting only for domain registrations. It has been a long time since I've used there hosting so it's possible they have improved. But I still hear from many others still not to use them.

I like godady for registrations and for hosting but I have never used any of the others for comparison. I don't like paying for private registration at godaddy but it's free when you register 6 or more domains at a time. Any time I want to buy a domain, I'll just add enough of the 89 cent .info domains to qualify for free privacy. Works like a champ!

"Best Web Hosting" is a relative term, one might be best for you but not to others. So if you say your needs / requirements then we can suggest the best host for you.

I believe that many web hosting employees will say you that their hosting is the best :)

Since there is generally no best web hosting company, I would learn some steps how to find the ideal solution for your website at ezinearticles. Look at the web hosting category, there are many good articles with tips how to choose the right web host.

    Hawk Host of course :)

All kidding aside there really isn't a best web host as everyone has different requirements for a web host. So someone say needs 40GB of space obviously we would not be the host for them. Or maybe they want Litespeed to be used so maybe we're a great host for them.

Then peoples opinions of hosts are going to vary quite a bit. When a company has hundreds of servers there can be bad apples so people on that machine say it's garbage. Then another server it's just great never any issues. The same can be said with dealing with staff. The people you deal with could really vary depending on the size of the company.
