    I believe in the SEO way of building traffic. PPCs do not work for me. I have tried in the past. Link building and article marketing are the two effective way of building steady traffic to your site.

    Most effective way to get traffic, as i currently use is twitter. I love this Social Networking Site as i could drive thousands of visitors to my site everday.

    I was the second person who posted after him!! Makes me feel stupid!

    (On a side note, it isn't that bad, as I have seen MANY thread on DP, which are either years old and/or bumped by someone).

    PPC did not work for me either!!!!! it's only wasting money for you(but gives good money for Google!!!) I didn't have any results from PPC. but others work very very well

    I must disagree with you londongirl.
    PPC most definitely works and works very well (not that I personally have had any success with it).
    The main problem with PPC is it takes loads of research to be able to actually profit from it.

    Now about it being a money maker for Google... well I can't argue with you there but that again comes back to people thinking that it is such easy money and they don't have a clue how to work the system. They just set up campaigns and wonder how they could have spent so much from a keyword that only cost a quarter.

    PPC without a doubt works but you better know how to work it.
