Tell me how many back-links should be taken everyday to compete any very competitive keyword. Back-links from forum posting are helpful in SEO or it just source of direct traffic. If I am able to post around 100 reply in forums like digital point then how many visitors would I get. My quality would be tracked from my this post, I have good typing speed so I think that if I work for 3 or 4 hours then I can post around 100 reply daily.
Forum links are OK, but try exchange links with other websites in your niche as this will be more helpful. Also add quality content to your site. If you get 1 link more a day than your competition than you will do well after while.
Forum links give you some link juice but it is less important to Google as there would be many links in a single thread. I recommend you to try some other source like 1. Creating profiles on high authority sites with backlinks 2. Link exchange with same niche sites 3. Bookmarking e.t.c
There are no set limits for backlinks every day, it depends on the niche and the competition on those SERPs, if the sites on first page google have more than 50k sites, then it is a guess work how many backlinks you need on daily basis to get ranked in a years time, right. Forum backlinks are good enough to keep your site indexed and it sends the crawlers in regularly and that will help to an extent, but dont expect much traffic until and unless you are there in a related forum (related to your niche)
forums links count very good, but the question should be how many backlinks you get indexed and get noticed by google. ?
Relevant sites count for more than irrelevant ones, but even irrelevant ones count for something. After all on a forum people talk about and link to all kinds of things, this forum has a general area where people discuss just about anything so you'll see links to all kinds of sites. One of my site's topmost keyword is "warriors" and one of the main forums I frequent is Warrior forums. Totally different subjects but one, huge, shared keyword. Most of the forums in my genre are small and nofollow so I have to be creative. Plus it's IM site so it, like this place helps me.
BAD advice. profile link building doesn't work and it is a spam method (for which profile link building service is not allowed on DP anymore). You will create 100 profiles and will find only one or 2 pages being indexed at the end. link exchange is not a recommended link building method either as google will eventually catch up with you and discount such links - read more bookmarking on popular sites is fine but mass link building using some spam tool to hundreds or thousands of crappy pligg/scuttle sites dont work either. @ OP, forum link building is somewhat of an industry these days as i can see, but in my own experience, it simply doesn't work. i keep telling this over and over and i think i'm just gonna write a blogpost about it on my blog so that i can just link to it showing why it doesn;t work. 20 post on a page, each member having 2-4 signatures with some forum allowing unlimited signature links, a new post staying on the category front page for only few hours unless it is extremely popular post, how can a forum thread pass good link juice? besides, with recent google mayday update that dropped ranking for inner pages for long tail KWs, it will impact ranking on individual forum threads as well meaning link juice from forums will be even lot less than ever before. You can promote your product or services on related forums using a sig link which is fine.
In my own experiences, forum posting and signature links are both helpful in building backlinks. For traffic purpose, I think social media would be a better channel. Quantity of backlinks everyday would not be a big problem if only you could do it in a constant pace. Have a nice day,
if you are trying to rank for a competitive keyword, I would focus on creating a divers link building campaign. From my understanding, the domain age should be used as a measure of how fast you build links.
