Need Help In selecting keywords for the new domain

Hi DP Members,
I am a student of Finance, and i m thinking to start new blog about Finance as i have plenty of knowledge regarding all this. My related niche would be business Finance or Corporate finance, but i don't know how to choose relevant keywords for my niche. As i want to choose some long tail keywords, but i don't know what these should be.
SO anyone of you if please help me out that what could be the relevant keywords for my niche, so that i will be able to get good pr by Google and good search engine ranking as well.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Use some common keyword research approaches:
http://www.google.com/insights/search/
http://www.google.com/trends
as well as the Adwords "Keyword tool" under "Opporinities from http://adwords.google.com
These three can give a really good start in keyword research.

Well Researched Keywords don't get you PR(Page Rank) on Google. You need to build back links for that.

search keywords on the Google adwords keyword tool and wordtracker, Google Insights, Google Trends. you will get keyword list and sort all the keywords and decide your keywords based on your niche.

 

I found those keywords in five minutes (using Market Samurai). Great software! you should consider reading up on it.
