Today I can't log into my account and now realized it is banned! I had to make a new one to post this thread. I didn't break any rules and didn't receive any notice! What happened? Can a mod help me out? I am windtalker and this is my profile: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=22234

I did change my password to a new one last time I logged on and I typed the new password correctly.

Apparently not if it says it didn't match.

I saved the password on a notepad file, so it is the correct password. Also if the account is banned, could this be the problem? But I don't even know why it is banned.

I would suggest trying to reset your password.

I tried that and it said that the forum do not recognize my email. I don't see how when I used that email here for a long time and I never changed the email. I tried to login again to see maybe I typed the password wrong, but the forum just made me wait 15 minutes
I think my account was hacked! If this is the case I can give details of my account if neccassery.

Do you use the same password anywhere else? You can give the proof the account is yours if you want.

Nope! Seems there is no problem how!
But i suggest you to not save passwords in notepad
Better you can save in a external safety source

Dont really see the problem with saving passwords to notepad on a encrypted USB stick (for example).
