Today at 9:30pm EST, OptikPoint.com has been handed over to a highly trusted source in which is a trusted phplinkdirectory moderator, highly knowledgable programmer and mod developer and a very good friend of mine, an0n a.k.a Rob. The pass over has been done successfully and the DNS has been removed so he can transfer it over to his source of connection for the running of OptikPoint.com Thank you, Steve Myers
it will be back soon. i've switched DNS nameservers and have let the files stay put until the wekend, just in case Steve needs something from the ftp (which he already has) should be switched over sometime this weekend though.
i hope you backed up your DB, because there is no way i can acquire it because you dont: a. have any backups in the dir b. lost your mysql db when you transfered it over.

Not a word from Steve. I'm feeling a bit disappointed in him at this point, as I am always up to par and on point with any directories I own/operate.
It's all good, I'm not going to remove you today or anything like that. I generally give any directory 2 weeks to fix any issues with their site being offline before removing them. It's normally a case of expired hosting, or transferring a domain over etc and is cleared up in a few days. When you get it back up and running be sure to reannounce it on the forum
Just an update to everyone who has submittedto optikpoint. I have not heard from Steve, and I am uncertain as to what I should do. This site has seen one too many makeovers and redo's. *sigh* Do I get my categories uploaded and the site reinstalled and go from there, or do I wait to here back from Steve. decisions... decisions.
From his previous post, it doesn't sound like there is a backup available. May be time to move forward?
That really sucks! Sorry to hear. I'd wait another day or two just in case. But I agree with CReed that it doesn't sound like a backup is available.
