The translation is overall pretty good, much better than what you might get from putting entire paragraphs through Babble-fish, or other free translation tools. By all means, this does help if you are already pretty good in writing in a particular language, but do so slowly and want a quick and dirty start to your document. Writing it in English first, and then editing it after putting it through Google Docs translation will possibly save you time. The experiment wasn’t done yet though, I tried two more languages: German and Portuguese. Surprisingly, Portuguese gave the best (and German the worst) translation. The reason for this, as far as I can see it, is fairly straightforward. The translation tool in Google Docs does not know how to translate certain sayings or expressions used in one language to another. For example, saying “Having read thisâ€, makes sense in English, but a word for word translation into Dutch and German makes no sense at all. But, surprisingly, in Portuguese it made perfect sense.
If you know how to use this engine for sure that it is powerful and accurate. What you should do: have a dictionary of target language to look for thesaurus and if it fits your assumption.
Google translator is some what ok as per my overall experience with Google translator. If anybody find good translator please tell me.
Google Translator is the best free tool available online. But the translation will not be perfect like manual translation. I have experience on this. PM me if you want support to configure Google Translator.
Google translate is great for articlewriting. Since me and my site is Danish. I simply steal others articles, translate them to english, use an articlespinner, then translate back from english to danish -> viola! unique and very readable.
Google translator language tool can translate some simple sentences. For long sentences, it often return ridiculous results. But I'm still using it.
Any automated tools couldn't be exact or error free so its better to do manual translation because you need professional content. You can use Google translation understand the content so it will be easy to translate manually
a simple way is to translate with google translator and have a box where to tell people that the page was translated with an automatic tool so they will know and pass over any errors in their native languages.
