I have the following problem: I wanted a confirmed address, but I'm from out of the US. So I didn't verify my account with a bank account. Now I added my CC with a shipping address in the US. After 2 or 3 days I get the message that my account is limited. I think because of the phone number I used. Now they want to verify my billing address (the shipping address I used) with my phone number. I don't want this account anymore, so I want to close it down. When I go to the resolution center to resolve the problem...it asks me to ADD CC/debit card....when doing so and entering the shipping address..it says my CC is already linked to the Paypal account. I need to make a payment (I am only a buyer, not a seller of goods) so I need to add my CC to another Paypal account, but if my account is limited I can't do so. I only have $1.95 on the paypal account, but I need the CC to use it on another account! Please help me guys!!!!
If you don't want this account any more, set up a fresh Paypal account with another credit card/virtual credit card and a bank account. Paypal allows each person have 2 accounts (US).
But I only have one credit card, So I can't use the credit card to another account? Because I don't have any money on the Paypal account and I don't need the account. What I need now is the CC. What do I have to do?
simple call your credit card company tell them ur card was lost .replace my card immediately and nlock the old one . in this way u will get new card . and use ur new card to your new paypal .
ohhhh!!! didn't think of thaaattt!! But what is the process of doing that?? DO I have to tell the police just like with a ID or passport? please explain the process to me, so I know what they will ask and have the answers when they ask or so that I just know the procedure. Uh huh...well you don't really need to close your account. Call your bank and tell them that you lost your card and want a new one. They will process it for you, then when you get the new card you enter that in Paypal.
I am not sure if u can do this with a account in limited access, but if you can just remove the credit card from the account and then add it again in the resolution center
take No further steps , just forget about your current paypal account , sign up for a new account and that is it , and do not do any activities that violate paypal TOS cause you will get suspended and you wont be able to use paypal again
But I can't close the account either because it has limited access..and I don't need the account. So I think I will just tell the bank I lost my card. Thankssssss
