I have been running small proxy sites off and on for several years now. I have Proxy.sc and wanted to know if I should turn it into a proxy list directory like proxy.org or should I just put a proxy script on it like it has now? I am just getting back into running them again and not sure what the best thing is to do. It seems adsense doesn't pay much, so developing it and selling advertising may be the best way to go. Any thoughts?
If you can really put some effort into SEO, then a listing site may be the best way to go - lots of earning potential and little resource usage.
try proxy.org promotions they are really worth it. I've experienced a lot of visitors and clicks with their blasts!
Wonder if some of you guys could help me out please. How do I ad the Adbrite code in the proxyfied pages? as you can see I have sucsessfully added Adsense http://bit.ly/cqrMVi Thanks!
add adbrite code in framedForm.inc.php after everything if you have <!--[glyperoxified]--> then add adbrite code in config.php
So is that site using a harder script to trace? I feel like my schools not all that unique so wouldn't more people want to use sites like this were its for sure not blocked. Or is it more luck not so much a script or technique?
I think he means they use https (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) proxies instead of HTTP proxies. At some schools HTTP's will get blocked but HTTPS not.
I've been working very hard on a new proxy script that I'm trying to get as compatible as possible with popular websites. I'm posting here because I'd like to know what features proxy owners would like to see in a proxy. If you suggest something that I end up implementing I'll give you 1 free month usage of my proxy script, so you can test it out. You must be the first person to post the feature request however.
Hi guys How is the proxy biz going on nowadays? I've been away from work for a long time and finally back. And also I'm starting up with some new proxy lists and if anyone interested in submitting their proxies you can get linked to them from http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1825826
Does anyone knows if using a non standard port for apache will bypass filters used in schools? (like: http://www.url.com:3245)
One of my proxies went online today, the results are getting stronger each day! Anyone recommend any proxy top sites to submit my proxy to?
