Users are getting errors in Vbulletin. 3.8.2 saying that their posts are too short when they are definitely long enough.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Thanks,

How short are their posts? :) Maybe they really are too short.

Disable your modifications one by one and see which is causing the problem :)

If you we're you would be able to see the announcement in your admincp index page..

If you upgrade i guess the problem will go away.

I had a similar problem last month that was only effecting a small percentage of our members (random assortment of OS & browsers). What ended up working for me was rebuilding these indexes in AdminCP > Maintenance > Update Counters:

    1) Rebuild Thread Information
    2) Rebuild Forum Information
    3) Fix Broken User Profiles
    4) Rebuild Post Cache
