Hell yeah! But personally, I use neither. I just use Statcounter, and lately, I've been using 103bees for my blogs.
Google analytics was a very known stats sytems before google bought it, named Urchin. It was (is) one of the best around. Also, if you use adwords, it integrates naturally to give you more information.
I like Google Analytics and whilst it give and more detailed information for a number of things I still think a few of the free trackers do other things better.
I've used Google analytics because they are user friendly. You don't have to wear your eye glasses to read the stats in other webstats program installed in your server. For example Awstat is pretty much too general in their statistics.
Hi Personally i am using Mach5 Analyzer and getting lot of information as Webmaster needed. There is much diff. i am getting in Google analytical log file. if you compare in hits/visitors and conversion rate. So, i like Mach5 and by the way it is very much user friendly. Thanks
I use Google analytics for 4 of my websites. I find it a great tool lots of details used other tools like extreme tracker but so far Google is the best tracker i ever used.
I love google analytics... I use for most of my sites as well... the good thing about (for me and I think) it is because it already excludes the stats made by bots... so I think it's pretty accurate
I use Google Analytics because it gives me very detailed stats about traffic from search engines. It gives keywords which people use to find my pages for each search engine separately. It also gives traffic timeline for each search engine.
I use google analytics, it's awesome and gives you so much more detail info, i.e. the map is great for demographics.
One of the things I really like about GA is the ability to associate the traffic source with page views. It makes it easier identifying which source of traffic is better quality.
