the site is : http://www.incatrailperu.com/ it is a competition of this keyword "Inca Trail" and I want to be first with that keyword any help? I think it would be possible yeah? how much help the domain name to be first in google? and it is possible to be first in google without having any keyword in the domain name? how many blacklinks I need to have to be first?

I believe your site is too small to really benefit from an XML sitemap.

The sitemap you have at the bottom of the page is enough to get Google to crawl your pages.

Not sure what it would take to be the first for your target keywords but every little bit should help, even this forum post.

 

This is not my site is a site of one of my competitors!

for example What I want to accomplish is that this site http://www.inkatrailtrek.com would be first with the keyword "Inca Trail" I'm thinking to change the conten with similar information that incatrailperu offerts , it is very important to me to accomplish this goal

The on page sitemap is more for visitors than the search engines. Though for small site it will work for both. I would still have a .xml sitemap just for good measure

Nope this is not the correct format of sitemap. you can refer the http://www.sitemaps.org/.

Another important factor is the domain age, the first domain was created in 2003 and the second in December 2009 so it might still be in the Google sandbox. This sort of competition is an uphill battle for the newcomer because the most important component for any SEO recipe is time.

Yes, XML sitemaps are recommended for better crawling. No matter how much big/small the site is.
